PRELIMINARIES DIARY OF THE CLIMB SUPPLEMENTAL INFO
|
Most trekking companies will
provide you with a detailed list of what you should bring on your
Kilimanjaro climb. I recommend that you follow their lists very closely,
and take everything that they suggest. Although, I had done a lot of
hiking, I did not have any of the extreme cold-weather clothing, or
"high-tech" base layers that are important for the climb. Thus, I ended-up
buying most of my gear specifically for this trip. The following items
(and stores) served me well; however, comparable items and brands will do
just fine.
